Pagosa Springs Colorado is a small town located in the southwestern region of Colorado, nestled in the San Juan Mountains. It is known for its natural hot springs, which are believed to have therapeutic properties, and its abundance of outdoor recreational activities. The town has a rich history, with its name derived from the Native American Ute tribe, who called it “Pagosa,” meaning “healing waters.” Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, and skiing in the surrounding mountains, as well as soaking in the hot springs and exploring the local art and culture. The town has a small-town feel and is a popular destination for those seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
